Which shopping carts or Website Builder/CMS are good for an ecommerce website?
I am building an ecommerce and i do not want a paypal shopping cart, for some reason that always looks unprofessional when I see other sites with that so I am looking for another shopping cart or website builder or anything that can give my ecommerce a more professional look.
At present i am looking at JOOMLA but their add on shopping carts dont seem great
Joomla has a few e-commerce extensions, I am not sure which one you are considering but VirtueMart extension is considered as powerful as many stand alone shopping cart solutions. I would highly recommend it.
If you are completely against it I would recommend looking at Zen-Cart, which is an OSCommerce clone. It’s is also quite powerful but much harder to customize.
